Old School Civic Center experience with building built in the 1950s and an attached park. When I was a kid the City of Downey had a very similar Civic Center, built out of an old elementary school. There was also an attached small park, perfect for spending your lunch break if you worked in one of the buildings. That has been long since demolished and replaced with the familiar fortress like structures of today with no park within walking distance. Really cool place to visit because of the park and many old classic buildings including a disused court building. Check it out. 😃

I pay my bills here and it's quick and easy. Plus all of the people are nice and helpful. I haven't had any other interactions with City Hall but it's a pretty place to hang out especially since there's a park nearby so kids can play while their parents are busy with grownup things.

This is a pretty nice city hall, there's a cute park behind it. I pay all my bills here and the service is quick and easy. I also gave it 5 stars because they put a crosswalk on Hollenbeck St and Bissell St so that old people can cross without a problem. I'm glad we have people who actually care.

Had been having issues getting some plans approved but Susanna went above and beyond to assist and thanks to her everything was resolved. Very sweet and helpful.
